Why do people drive these cars?
Apparently people in CT now drive cars that require you to lift a 30 pound weight or complete a complicated computation in order to use a turn signal. That's the only reason i can think of why people refuse to use their turn signal. In my car i don't even need to take my hand off the wheel, it's just a little flick of the wrist. As a result i can easily use my turn signal even if nobody is following meanwhile. People in these new fangled cars don't even use their turn signals when I'm following close behind them, and they are going to turn off in the middle of the road. I can understand why people wouldn't use their turn signal if they need to lift a large weight, or can't complete the calculation in time, but what i can't understand is why people would buy cars like that in the first place.

Maybe it's the New York City people going out to their country houses... or Jersey transplants. EVERYBODY knows those two states harbor awful drivers! Also, I dare you to drive down the length of Long Island one day. And not get in an accident.

at least they're not as bad as lithuanian driver: we've got the worst record in the EU!
I think the whole northeast harbors awful drivers. massachusetts drivers have a bad reputation too. I don't know what it is about the east coast that inspires poor driving. maybe the rest of the country has bad drivers too, but i don't live over there.
Lithuanian drivers are quite crazy. I would be interested in knowing if there was any explanation for that. It practically seems like they don't mind being in accidents the way they drive.
The irony is that they have to go through 20 hours of driving with an instructor before taking the driving test. That means they receive five times more instruction than Connecticites.
This proves that instruction beyond the basics does not produce any result; people drive the way they do not because of a lack of know how but rather based on personallity. The northeast has a ton of thoughtless reckless dicks, and Lithuanian is full of 'em.
