not surprising really. If anything it would seem more weird if men didn't prefer the smell of women who were ovulating (at least if you believe in evolutionary biology.) I hope all my female readers (if any) take note. Of course finding out what makes guys horny is hardly a challenge, let's find out what smell a guy can make to get a girl hot.

dinner!
Duh. I read about ten years ago that some German company will make you a custom perfume made from your ovulating-vagina juices.
Case in point: after the iskyla last year, when you and Gaja and I smelled so terrible, or maybe it was just Gaja and me since we don't use conventional deodorant, at least not regularly, and the iskyla was on a no-deodorant day for Gaja and I was using liquid salt, and I was impressed with my own odor and kind of turned on by it, inhaling deeply a smell that I had been taught that it was unnatural to share with the world. When we arrived, Gintas tested my stained-brown t-shirt armpit with his own nose, inhaled deeply himself, and said it smelled totally great.
Modern living is kind of tricky since people really don't have natural odors anymore so we have to rely on other instinctual cues to pick our mates. Personally I suspect my odor is the most appealing thing I have going besides my obviously impressive maternal instincts.
aleksandra you are totally twisting the point around. The point isn't that natural human body odor is fine (although logically it seems that should aslo be true) but rather that human beings like other animals respond to females who are in heat/ovulating. Unless you were ovulating at the time (which you failed to mention) that is not the case in point.
*This* is the case in point, and the most cleverly named website I've ever come on.
