In honor of our new presidents inauguration, bars in the DC area will be allowed to serve alcohol until 5 am, instead of the current end time 2 am. Finally something we can all agree on, more booze. Plus, as an added bonus, this incorporates martin luther king jr. day. It's only natural seeing how much we all associate both him, and obama with alcoholism, that we should keep drinking until 5 in the morning in their honor. Read books? read the news paper? get informed about politics? why would anyone ever do that to celebrate what has been so widely called a historic election when could all get drunk and play ping pong instead.
